At Nevis Range Trail Centre, the extensive network of mountain bike trails caters to riders of all skill levels, ensuring an inclusive and thrilling experience amidst the stunning Scottish Highlands. Ranging from green for beginners to orange for the most advanced riders. Green trails provide a gentle introduction, perfect for those new to mountain biking or families seeking a leisurely ride. Blue trails offer a step-up in challenge, incorporating more varied terrain and introducing riders to controlled descents. For the adventurous intermediate rider, red trails provide a blend of technical features, berms, and jumps, while the expert-level black and orange trails present the ultimate challenge with steep descents, demanding technical sections, and obstacles designed to push even the most seasoned riders to their limits. There is also a skills area and a pump track for those looking to further hone their skills.

The lower trails, which are accessed by forest road climbs, are home to the more family friendly trails with the green Cross Country trail Puggy Line and a handful of blue trails all well suited for beginners looking to develop their skill. There is also a selection of red trails and a single black for those not wanting to venture higher up Aonoch Mor. These trails are free to use with a small fee of £5 for a days parking. Overnight parking can also be purchased without electric hook ups or facilities for £15.

For those looking for a little extra exhilaration Nevis Range offers its Mountain Gondola, the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom, which will transport you 650m up the mountain with absolute ease. Enjoy the views as you climb with comfort with your bikes safely perched outside the gondola. When you get there 15 minutes later you will be faced with three options Blue Doon, Top Chief and The World Cup DH Track. The Blue Doon ,the newest trail, is a blue graded flow trail opened in 2021 and at around 8km long it is one of the longest of its type in Britain. The superb Top Chief offers vast boardwalks which make it feel like you are truly riding across the side of a mountain with tricky drops and rock slabs even the most experienced riders will find this Black Trail challenging. The World Cup DH Track is an orange trail that is definitely not for the faint hearted. Home to a leg of the Downhill World Cup since 2002 it is a challenge to even the worlds best.
